AscentiaCore Consulting is led by Chanchal K. Sinha, a senior finance, strategy and commercial leader who works closely with promoters, CEOs and boards to strengthen enterprise performance, sharpen decision-making and build resilient, well-governed organisations that create enduring value.
Chanchal brings an integrated enterprise-wide perspective across strategy, financial leadership, commercial decision-making and performance governance, with a deep understanding of how leadership intent translates into execution across complex organisations. His work spans enterprise strategy and transformation, finance leadership and capital discipline, commercial and supply chain performance, cost and profitability improvement, governance, risk and internal controls, as well as strategic initiatives including restructuring, transactions support, shared services and GCC design, automation-led process improvement and ESG-aligned value creation.
Over his career, he has held senior leadership roles within globally respected organisations including Ernst & Young, Bata India Ltd, Tata Chemicals Ltd, and other prominent groups, contributing to initiatives spanning transformation execution, operating model improvement, commercial performance strengthening and enterprise-level governance maturity. His experience spans diverse business contexts across FMCG, retail, B2B services, manufacturing and multi-business organisations, enabling him to apply cross-industry judgment to complex leadership decisions.
His professional credentials reflect deep expertise in global finance, strategy and management leadership. He is a CPA and Fellow Member of CPA Australia; a Chartered Management Accountant and Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK; a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA); and a Cost & Management Accountant and Fellow Member of ICMAI. He has further enhanced his leadership perspective through executive education, with the ESG and Sustainable Financial Strategy Program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford (UK).
